♥ A new world is coming, a crafty world, an handmade world, a D.I.Y. world and so... a crocheted world for me.
I just discover the concept of the Van bo le-mentzel's little house, an architect whose device is : "Built it, don't buy it". So he decided to teach how to built things like this tiny house, but also chairs, tables but not to sell them. Then people must built it to have it and I thing it's the best way to channge the world. Do it yourself!
This way of life is available for crochet. You need a new bag? Crochet it! A new dress? Crochet it! A new cardigan? Crochet it! A new case for your smart phone or your tablet? Crochet it!
But I need to apply this concept to myself before asking to the rest of the hooky world.
For exemple, I made a Kokeshi with the baby amigurumi body (see previous post) and another Tinker Bell amigurumi. Instead of selling them to buy Christmas gifts "made in China", I decided to offer my dolls to my niece and my little cousin. My niece is 2 y.o. and even if she will spend her Christmas in Paris Disneyland, I know she will be happy to have this special and handmade Tinker Bell.
So, if I want to be a part of the new world, I have to change myself as said Gandhi, and I have to crochet for my family, my friends, my home and my customers who are saing the planet buying handmade items instead of "made in China" ones.
Then, I'll use this blog to share with you my evolution showing you how I do crocheted stuffs.
This decision makes me feel free!
Crochet it, don't buy it (and crochet it with love ♥♥♥)
Une fin pour une nouvelle vie - Ceci sera mon dernier message sur ce blog et en marquera la fin. Une nouvelle vision du crochet vous attend sur Digital Crochet. Merci à tous et à toutes ...
